March 17. The Youth Group will serve the Lenten Meal

Thrivent
Builds/Habitat for Humanity Project in Harrisburg, SD:
The Lincoln County Thrivent Chapter is currently seeking
individuals who are willing to work within their congregation to
help coordinate the congregation's efforts in a Thrivent Builds
Homes/Habitat for Humanity project this year in Harrisburg, SD.
An
informational
kick-off meeting (meal provided) for those interested in helping
with this project will be held Monday, Mar. 15 at Shalom
Lutheran Church in Harrisburg at 6:00 pm. This event will be led
by Lead Thrivent Builds Associate, Al Horton. If you are
interested in learning more about this event or would like to
attend please contact our Thrivent Builds Chapter Specialist,

WELCA:
You are invited to the UCC Beresford’s Women’s Annual Good
Friday Silent Luncheon on Friday, April 2nd at
12:00 at the UCC Fellowship Hall. The
silent lunch and program will last approximately 1 hour. The
program deals with the meaning of Good Friday and is a good time
to contemplate in silence. A free-will offering will be
collected. If interested please RSVP to Shirley Jacobson

Beresford Musical Arts Club:
To encourage young musicians to pursue a higher level of musical
achievement, The Beresford Musical Arts Club annually presents
scholarships to students who attend summer music camps. To
raise funds for these scholarships, the club has planned a
“Music Fest” concert performed by local musicians from the area
churches. The concert will be held Palm Sunday, March 28, 3:00
pm, at
Emmanuel
Lutheran Church. Refreshments will be served following the
concert. Please plan to enjoy this concert, featuring Beresford
area musicians.
St Dysmas of SD:
WELCA has scheduled April 15th at 6:00 pm to attend
worship at the Sioux Falls Prison. If you are interested in
attending you must pick up and return the proper forms to the
church office by March 28. Contact the church office or Jeanette
Silva for more information.
Save the Date:
Emmanuel will serve The Banquet on Tuesday, April 20. We will
need 6 volunteers to go early and prepare and 40 volunteers to
serve. A sign-up sheet will be available in the office or in the
Narthex for the next several weeks.
